{{Template:PageHeader | PageImage = class-mage.webp | PageHeader = Mage General Leveling Guide }} == Early Game Leveling == === Levels 1 - 50 === These first 30 levels will come fairly quick. You honestly just need to keep killings mobs on any of the first five maps until you hit around level 30, or you're able to actually kill monsters in Fairy Glen once you can kill the monsters in Fairy Glen you'll honestly stay there until you have a decent set of Spellthread Gear / Spellweaver Artifacts. What I would suggest you do is try and collect gear and cards you'll need to help with the leveling process per map, until you have what you need. I'll list the map and gear/cards below you can aim for to help you on your journey. These drops will be based on a fire build. If you would rather go a different element just look for gear and cards you need on https://spiritvale.info/. By the time I had a good set of gear and artifacts I was past job 50 and ready for the change to Wizard. As far as gear goes, until you get 90% CTR I would focus on getting DEX to help with cast speed. Once you hit 99 INT, I would then start putting points into DEX until you have 99 DEX. ---- === Recommended Low-Level Gear === {{RecommendedItemInfoBox | WeaponOneName =Radiant Wand | WeaponOneMap =Windy Desert | WeaponOneAttribute =Int or Dex | WeaponOneModifierOne =Cast Speed | WeaponOneModifierTwo =Magic Damage | WeaponOneCard1 =Dog Bowwow Card | WeaponOneCard2 =Dog Bowwow Card | WeaponOneCard3 = | WeaponOneCard4 = | WeaponTwoName =Sun Emblem | WeaponTwoMap =Fairy Glenn | WeaponTwoAttribute =Int or Dex | WeaponTwoModifierOne =HP% | WeaponTwoModifierTwo =Player Choice | WeaponTwoCard1 =Sun Blossom Card | WeaponTwoCard2 =Treant Forest Evergreen Card | WeaponTwoCard3 = | WeaponTwoCard4 = | ChestName =Spellthread Chest | ChestMap =Fairy Glenn | ChestAttribute =Int or Dex | ChestModifierOne =HP % | ChestModifierTwo =Player Choice | ChestCard1 =Treant Tree Evergreen Card | ChestCard2 =Butterfly Fairy Card | LegwearName =Spellthread Legs | LegwearMap =Fairy Glenn | LegwearAttribute =Int or Dex | LegwearModifierOne =Mp Regen % | LegwearModifierTwo =Mp Cost Reduction | LegwearCard1 =Flame Card | LegwearCard2 = | ShoeName =Spellthread Shoes | ShoeMap =Fairy Glenn | ShoeAttribute =Int or Dex | ShoeModifierOne =Cast Speed | ShoeModifierTwo =Movement Speed | ShoeCard1 =Rabbit Card | ShoeCard2 = | HeadgearName =Bubble Beast Hat | HeadgearMap =Treant Trail | HeadgearAttribute =Int or Dex | HeadgearCard1 =Butterfly Pixie Card | HeadgearCard2 = | FaceName = | FaceMap = | FaceAttribute = | FaceCard1 = | FaceCard2 = | UtilityName =Festival Rockets | UtilityMap =Windy Desert | UtilityAttribute =Int or Dex | UtilityCard1 =Butterfly Pixie Card | UtilityCard2 = | AccessoryOneName =Cloud Loop | AccessoryOneMap =Windy Desert | AccessoryOneAttribute=Int or Dex | AccessoryOneCard1 =Players Choice | AccessoryOneCard2 = | AccessoryTwoName =Scroll | AccessoryTwoMap =Festering Woods | AccessoryTwoAttribute=Int or Dex | AccessoryTwoCard1 =Player choice | AccessoryTwoCard2 = | ArtifactName =Spellweaver | ArtifactMap =Fairy Glenn | ArtifactAttribute =Int or Dex | ArtifactModifier =HP % and Matk% }} == Mid Game Leveling == === Levels 50 - 100 === If you get all of the gear you need, you can go to Goblin Cave or Village to finish getting your job to level 50 so you can advance. By the time you're job 50 you should be going to change into your advanced class, this game is not designed for base classes to do content over level 100. Currently some base classes are buffed to be stronger than they will be once their advanced class comes out so that people are still able to play them in current content. If you do want to go beyond Job 50 and be perma wizard this guide will not be covering that. == Tips and Tricks == Fireball is quick to cast and can deal decent damage, but it does take a lot of mana early on. Use it liberally. With this build Fireball and Firebolt will be your main sources of damage. == Job Advancement == {{JobAdvancementBox | FirstClass = Wizard | SecondClass = Chronomancer | ThirdClass = Spellblade }} ---- <noinclude>[[Category:Guides]] [[Category:Mage Guides]]</noinclude>
