{{Template:PageHeader | PageImage = class-scout.webp | PageHeader = Scout General Leveling Guide }} == Early Game Leveling == Preface: Scout is a ranged high-dps, glass-cannon (very very squishy) class. So don't be surprised if you get one-shotted by random mob. Just respawn, heal and go back grinding. Some things to be kept in mind if scout is your first class: As strafing volley is your main dps skill, using macro is highly recommended (use AHK or any macro software; they're legal in this game). Mp sustain is your first priority, as spamming volley is your main way of levelling. Arrow shower and volatile bolt does a ton of damage, but using them will further worsen your mp sustain issue. Some idea to solve this is: Put some int stat early on, you can reset your stat whenever you like at town. So don't be afraid to go for some int if you have mp sustain early. Mp cost-x%, Mp regen+x%, Mp+x% stat roll on your chest and legwear gear. Treant Minion Autumn Card: Mp: '''+20''' '''and''' Mp Regen '''+15%''' (drops from treant on treant trail, very easy to farm) Treant Tree Autumn Card: Mp: '''+20%''' (drops from mob as above map) Bat Card: Mana on kill (per 50 int): '''+20'''(best if you farm lower level mobs) Eyeball Blue Mage Card: Mana on hit (per 50 int): '''+3''' Mp: '''-50%''' (from high-end mob, best to buy them from other for up to 500k) Bat Lord Card: Mana on hit (per 50 int): '''+3''' (mvp drop, this should be your end-game goal for mp sustain) === Levels 1 - 50: === Skill Priority: Early on, you would want to level these active skills (Haste, Strafing Volley, Arrow Shower, Volatile Shot) on level 1 so that mp cost is low, max your bow passive first instead, and mp sustain passive. Level your strafing volley according to your mp sustain. Stat Priority: *Put some int if you have mp sustain issue, if you have some gear/card recommended above and have no mp issues, just go full dex. *Dex is your first stat to be maxed. *Agi 2nd *Int for MP, then rest to LUK. Recommended Maps: *Sunny Meadows, just whack any mob here for some early levels. Look for chick mob, Chick Card is very OP early on. Use them on your weapon if you got em, but it's not a must. *Treant Trail, farm here a bit for Mp cards mentioned above. *Windy Desert, farm your armor set here (Windstrider set). Some desireable roll on your armor set as scout is *Chest: Dex3, Mp%+, Damage from Magic%- *Legwear: Dex3, MpCost%-, MpRegen%+ *Shoes: Dex3, Atk Spd%, Move Spd%+ ---- === Recommended Low-Level Gear === {{RecommendedItemInfoBox | WeaponOneName = | WeaponOneMap = | WeaponOneAttribute = | WeaponOneModifierOne = | WeaponOneModifierTwo = | WeaponOneCard1 = | WeaponOneCard2 = | WeaponOneCard3 = | WeaponOneCard4 = | WeaponTwoName = | WeaponTwoMap = | WeaponTwoAttribute = | WeaponTwoModifierOne = | WeaponTwoModifierTwo = | WeaponTwoCard1 = | WeaponTwoCard2 = | WeaponTwoCard3 = | WeaponTwoCard4 = | ChestName = | ChestMap = | ChestAttribute = | ChestModifierOne = | ChestModifierTwo = | ChestCard1 = | ChestCard2 = | LegwearName = | LegwearMap = | LegwearAttribute = | LegwearModifierOne = | LegwearModifierTwo = | LegwearCard1 = | LegwearCard2 = | ShoeName = | ShoeMap = | ShoeAttribute = | ShoeModifierOne = | ShoeModifierTwo = | ShoeCard1 = | ShoeCard2 = | HeadgearName = | HeadgearMap = | HeadgearAttribute = | HeadgearCard1 = | HeadgearCard2 = | FaceName = | FaceMap = | FaceAttribute = | FaceCard1 = | FaceCard2 = | UtilityName = | UtilityMap = | UtilityAttribute = | UtilityCard1 = | UtilityCard2 = | AccessoryOneName = | AccessoryOneMap = | AccessoryOneAttribute= | AccessoryOneCard1 = | AccessoryOneCard2 = | AccessoryTwoName = | AccessoryTwoMap = | AccessoryTwoAttribute= | AccessoryTwoCard1 = | AccessoryTwoCard2 = | ArtifactName = | ArtifactMap = | ArtifactAttribute = | ArtifactModifier = }} <!-- == Job Advancement == {{JobAdvancementBox | FirstClass = Gunslinger | SecondClass = Ranger | ThirdClass = Jester }} --> == Mid Game Leveling == === Levels 50 - 120 === As Bunny mentioned in the Scout Discord channel. Thanks to their testing Oak Bow, Windstrider armor set, Archer's Bead and Crimsons Crest are considered end game gear. So it's best when farming to get the best 322 stats & their modifiers. Skills Priority: Auto Strafe = Precision Aim = Steady Hands = Strafing Volley = Increased Recovery Volatile Bolt - Lv 10 - AOE quick casting skill. All of the damage is instant. Arrow Shower - Lv 10 - AOE DOT skill Mark Target - Lv 5 - for those stubborn elite monsters Flee - Lv ? - Just make sure you're at or close to 95% dodge rate. I use it at lv 4. Force Shot - Optional, for farming I leave this at lv 1 just for utility Slow Trap - Optional, for farming I leave this at lv 1 just for utility Sniper's Nest - Lv 5 - Optional, for boss fights if you have a tank Increased Health - If i have any extra points i just shove it in here. Gems, in order of priority: Strafing Volley - Windy Desert (Lv 21-25) Volatile Bolt - Underground Cavern (Lv 86-90) Arrow Shower - Abyss Castle Keep (Lv 101-105) Force Shot - Goblin Cave (Lv 51-55) If you have the Bloodfang or Soulfang gem, replace Force Shot. Recommended Map: *Unlike other classes, you may find it difficult to farm monsters your level. Up to level 120, i was farming Forgotten Depths trying to get the perfect Archer's Bead and Boss summons. *Fairy Glen (Lv 31 - 35) - Oak bow is comparable to the end game bow which is Wraith of Dawn. If you get Range Damage % and Crit Damage % imo i wouldn't farm for the Wraith of Dawn *Forgotten Depths (Lv 46-55) - Great place to farm since the mob density is very high. You can get many of archer's gear here. Drooping Bat, Archer's Bead, Bat Lord Boss Summon for Bat Lord card & Soulfang Gem. *Swamp Wilderness (61-65) - Purely EXP grind spot, great mob density *Sanctum of Light (Lv 81-85) - Purely EXP grind spot, The 2nd room has great mob density. *Underground Cavern (Lv 86-90) - Bloom Card & Nightfang Stud *Dark Forest (Lv 96 - 100) - If you're up for it, this area will drop your end game Artifact (Corporeal Set). You can also look out for Voidthreads for an alternative endgame build (Precision Plate + Voidthreads + Direwolf Shoes) Stat Priority: *DEX > AGI > LUK ---- === Recommended Mid-Level Gear === Build explanation: All of the gear listed below are obtainable through farming certain maps in this level range. However, some of the recommended cards are a lot more difficult to obtain, and are technically optional. Death Mage card - Gives you cloaking lv1, this is a boss card that you'll most likely buy from another player. It's basically a get out of jail free card. Completely optional, but if you don't like dying this would be your best bet (or get good at rolling). While waiting to get this card, you can just use another horror card (crit dmg). Bat Lord Card - +3 MP on hit, this is also a boss card. Killing the bat lord is possible with practice. This card is all you need if you have mp regen skill passive maxed. In the mean time you can wear the Drooping Bat for your MP needs. Mosquito Stinger Card - Lv 5 Haste, Very QOL. Optional. If you're looking to solo i would run this card. If you have buddies that can buff you on the regular you don't need this card. If you're having troubles finding this card you can also use Phantom Mask however you'll won't have HP leech and this specific item doesn't give you a card slot. Alternatives: Accessory - Nightfang Stud (HP Leech), can replace Death's Grin with Runeborn Visor Advancing this build to end game would be: Corporeal Artifact set > Archangel Card on weapon (replacing range dmg %) Bloodfang gem > replace Death's Grin with Runeborn Visor Precision Gauntlet > replaces one of the archer beads (Keep the bat lord card) Alternative End Game Build: Precision chest, Voidthread Legs, Direwolf Shoes, Bronze Plugs (Siphoning + Haste) This build is more comfortable, more HP, more Deff, more Move spd. However does less damage than the Windstrider set. {{RecommendedItemInfoBox | WeaponOneName =Oak Bow | WeaponOneMap =Fairy Glen (Lv 31 - 35) | WeaponOneAttribute =Dex | WeaponOneModifierOne =Range Damage | WeaponOneModifierTwo =Crit Damage | WeaponOneCard1 =Cyclops Bat Wizard Card | WeaponOneCard2 =Bloom Card | WeaponOneCard3 =Bloom Card | ChestName =Windstrider | ChestMap =Windy Desert (Lv 21 - 25) | ChestAttribute =Dex | ChestModifierOne =HP% | ChestModifierTwo =Deff | ChestCard1 =Treant Tree Evergreen Card | ChestCard2 =Butterfly Fairy Card | LegwearName =Windstrider | LegwearMap =Windy Desert (Lv 21 - 25) | LegwearAttribute =Dex | LegwearModifierOne =-MP Cost | LegwearModifierTwo =Flee | LegwearCard1 =Blossom Card | ShoeName =Windstrider | ShoeMap =Windy Desert (Lv 21 - 25) | ShoeAttribute =Dex | ShoeModifierOne =Move Speed | ShoeModifierTwo =Attack Speed | ShoeCard1 =Hare Card or Rabbit Card | ShoeCard2 =Razor Robot Card | HeadgearName =Crimson Crest | HeadgearMap =Crafted in Windy Desert (Lv 21 - 25) | HeadgearAttribute =Dex | HeadgearCard1 =Death Mage Card | HeadgearCard2 =Horror Card | FaceName =Death's Grin - HP Leech | FaceMap =Crafted in Swamp Wilderness (Lv 61 - 65) | FaceAttribute =Dex | FaceCard1 =Horror Card | UtilityName =Quiver | UtilityMap =Windy Desert (Lv 21 - 25) | UtilityAttribute =Dex | UtilityCard1 =Housefly Junk Card | AccessoryOneName =Archer's Bead | AccessoryOneMap =Forgotten Depths (Lv 46-50) | AccessoryOneAttribute=Dex | AccessoryOneCard1 =Mosquito Stinger Card | AccessoryTwoName =Archer's Bead | AccessoryTwoMap =Forgotten Depths (Lv 46-50) | AccessoryTwoAttribute=Dex | AccessoryTwoCard1 =Bat Lord Card | ArtifactName =Stormquiver | ArtifactMap =Forgotten Depths (Lv 46 - 50) | ArtifactAttribute =Dex |LegwearCard2=Shell Robot Card|FaceCard2=Cosmic Entity}} == Late Game Leveling == === Levels 120+ === === Content here. === Stat Priority: The last entry in the late game leveling section should be the final stat allocation section, where every possible stat has been put into place. ---- === Recommended High-Level Gear === {{RecommendedItemInfoBox | WeaponOneName = | WeaponOneMap = | WeaponOneAttribute = | WeaponOneModifierOne = | WeaponOneModifierTwo = | WeaponOneCard1 = | WeaponOneCard2 = | WeaponOneCard3 = | WeaponOneCard4 = | WeaponTwoName = | WeaponTwoMap = | WeaponTwoAttribute = | WeaponTwoModifierOne = | WeaponTwoModifierTwo = | WeaponTwoCard1 = | WeaponTwoCard2 = | WeaponTwoCard3 = | WeaponTwoCard4 = | ChestName = | ChestMap = | ChestAttribute = | ChestModifierOne = | ChestModifierTwo = | ChestCard1 = | ChestCard2 = | LegwearName = | LegwearMap = | LegwearAttribute = | LegwearModifierOne = | LegwearModifierTwo = | LegwearCard1 = | LegwearCard2 = | ShoeName = | ShoeMap = | ShoeAttribute = | ShoeModifierOne = | ShoeModifierTwo = | ShoeCard1 = | ShoeCard2 = | HeadgearName = | HeadgearMap = | HeadgearAttribute = | HeadgearCard1 = | HeadgearCard2 = | FaceName = | FaceMap = | FaceAttribute = | FaceCard1 = | FaceCard2 = | UtilityName = | UtilityMap = | UtilityAttribute = | UtilityCard1 = | UtilityCard2 = | AccessoryOneName = | AccessoryOneMap = | AccessoryOneAttribute= | AccessoryOneCard1 = | AccessoryOneCard2 = | AccessoryTwoName = | AccessoryTwoMap = | AccessoryTwoAttribute= | AccessoryTwoCard1 = | AccessoryTwoCard2 = | ArtifactName = | ArtifactMap = | ArtifactAttribute = | ArtifactModifier = }} == Endgame Overview == Content here. == Tips and Tricks == You can actually auto attack while using other skills like Strafing Volley.
