{{RecommendedItemInfoBox | Until you're level 20+ and can get the Windstrider gear from the first Desert map, you should just use any gear which gives DEX/INT and Ranged Att/MP bonuses. There isn't a lot of it, but that's what you're looking for. When you can fight in the Desert, you want to get at least +2 DEX on the whole set, and if you're going for end-game, +3 DEX (and BIS modifiers) by Alpha/Launch or even in a new Playtest patch there will almost certainly be new gear added, because currently you can pretty much just farm Windy Desert & Fairy Glen to get your end-game gear.{{RecommendedItemInfoBox

Class Introduction: | |||
In my opinion (1BlankPage) Scout is in a below average space right now because we don't have an advanced class. However Scout does have the highest single target damage. Be prepared to kite and die a lot in higher level areas.

The Element% dmg card on your weapon depends on the map you're going to, always swap the element that would benefit you the most.
Death Mage card - Gives you cloaking lv1, this is a boss card that you'll most likely buy from another player. It's basically a get out of jail free card. Completely optional, but if you don't like dying this would be your best bet (or get good at rolling). While waiting to get this card, you can just use another horror card (crit dmg). | Death Mage card - Gives you cloaking lv1, this is a boss card that you'll most likely buy from another player.
