SpiritVale Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 Last Updated: March 22nd, 2026
1. Quick Overview
SpiritVale and its team care about your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we may share it, and what rights you may have. It covers the game itself and related services, including the database at SpiritVale.info, the wiki, and our use of third-party services such as Steam, Ko-fi, and the official Discord server.
2. Who We Are
SpiritVale is operated by Baikun Interactive Pty Ltd. In this Policy, “SpiritVale,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Baikun Interactive Pty Ltd and the volunteers who support the SpiritVale team.
Please direct any questions about this Policy to spiritvaledev@gmail.com. For general support, please submit a moderator ticket through our official Discord server.
3. What Services This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to both the game itself and other SpiritVale services, including the database, the wiki, the official Discord server, and SpiritVale’s presence on Steam and Ko-fi.
Some of these services are also covered by separate privacy policies. We recommend reading those policies as well so you can better understand how your data may be used.
- Discord: https://discord.com/privacy
- Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement/
- Ko-fi: https://more.ko-fi.com/privacy
This Policy only covers SpiritVale’s role in managing its services. It does not replace or change the privacy policies or terms of these other services.
4. Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you use SpiritVale, its official services, and related third-party services.
Account and Platform Data
We may collect account and platform data to run the game and manage our services. This may include your Steam ID, character names, Device UID, IP address, Discord username and tag, and account information if you create a wiki or database account.
Steam ID, Device UID, and IP address are needed to provide access to the game and support our service, moderation, and support systems. Device UID is provided through Steam. Other account and platform data may be used for moderation and service management.
Game Data
We collect game data to run the game and keep track of player records. This may include character levels, items, gold balance, location, login information, inventory, and account progress.
We also collect information about player activity involving other players. This includes trading, vending, buying, selling, and other player-to-player interactions.
We publicly display game leaderboards and the current status of vending players on our database.
Website, Wiki, and Database Data
We may collect data from the website, wiki, and database. If you create an account, this may include your username, password information, and IP address. We also keep edit history and may log IP addresses connected to website, wiki, or database activity.
Account passwords are stored securely in protected form and are separate from SpiritVale’s main game authentication system at this time.
The website, database, and wiki are public services. Some information shared or created there may be visible to other users by design.
If you log in to the website, wiki, or database, essential login or session cookies may be used to keep the service working properly.
Technical Data
We collect only limited technical data. This includes IP address and Device UID. We do not currently collect crash logs, error reports, performance data, device type, operating system, or browser type.
The technical data we do collect is gathered automatically when needed to run the service, support moderation, and protect our systems.
Community and Support Data
We may collect community and support records when you contact us or take part in our community spaces. This includes Discord moderator tickets, messages sent to staff or moderators, bug reports, support requests, user reports, appeals, moderation notes, and enforcement history.
These records are kept private and are only available to approved users who need access for support, moderation, safety, or service management.
Payment and Supporter Data
If you support SpiritVale through Ko-fi or related payment services, we may receive supporter and transaction information. This may include your name or username, email address, donation, membership, or purchase details, and transaction records.
For purchases, memberships, or other supporter benefits that require fulfillment or tax handling, we may also receive mailing address, phone number, or other shipping-related details where needed.
We may use this information to manage donations, memberships, purchases, supporter benefits, support requests, accounting, taxes, fraud prevention, disputes, and chargebacks.

We keep personal information private to SpiritVale staff and the support team unless sharing is needed to run our services, use third-party platforms, or follow the law.
This may include sharing information with services such as Steam, Discord, Ko-fi, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, payment providers, or support tools when needed to operate SpiritVale and its related services.
We may also share information when required by law or when needed to protect the safety, rights, property, or security of SpiritVale, its users, or others.
We do not sell personal information.
12. Fraud, Abuse, Cheating, and Security
SpiritVale may review information needed to protect the game, its services, and its community. This may include logs, reports, transaction records, device information, account activity, and moderation history.
We use this information to help prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, cheating, abuse, chargebacks, harassment, rule-breaking, and other misuse of our services.

13. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect the information we collect.
Private information is kept in protected tools and services. Access is limited to approved users who need it for support, moderation, safety, or service management, and those permissions may be removed at any time.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International Data Transfers
SpiritVale may host services or use providers in multiple countries and regions. Because of this, your information may be processed, stored, or transferred outside the country where you live.
When required, we will take reasonable steps to follow the laws and rules that apply to international data transfers and the regions where our services operate. Third-party platforms and services may also process your information under their own privacy policies and legal requirements.
15. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for service, support, moderation, safety, and legal purposes.
In general, SpiritVale keeps account records, support records, moderation records, enforcement records, and related service records for up to two years. Some information may be kept longer if needed for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, or safety reasons.
16. User Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under the law. These may include rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or limit the use of your information, and to receive certain information in a portable format where required. Where we use consent, you may also withdraw it.
To make a request, contact us at spiritvaledev@gmail.com. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before we respond. Some requests may be limited where allowed by law, including for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, or the rights of others.
17. Children’s Privacy
SpiritVale uses Steam for account authentication and follows Steam’s account age rules.
The minimum age to create a Steam account is 13. In some countries, Steam may require a higher age or parental consent. SpiritVale is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under that age outside of Steam’s account system.
Players may use SpiritVale if they are using a Steam account that meets Steam’s rules, including any parental consent rules that apply.
If we learn that a child has used the service in a way that does not meet these rules, we may review the account and take appropriate action.
Questions or concerns about children’s privacy may be sent to spiritvaledev@gmail.com.
