SpiritVale Terms and Conditions

1. Quick Overview

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using SpiritVale and its related services. By accessing or using SpiritVale, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to the game, website, wiki, database, official Discord server, and related official services where appropriate. If you do not agree to these terms, you must stop using SpiritVale.

2. Who We Are

SpiritVale is operated by Baikun Interactive Pty Ltd. In these Terms and Conditions, “SpiritVale,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Baikun Interactive Pty Ltd and the volunteers who support the SpiritVale team.

3. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using SpiritVale, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the game or any related services.

Some parts of SpiritVale may also rely on third-party services such as Steam, Discord, Ko-fi, PayPal, or Stripe. Those services may have their own terms, rules, and policies that also apply to your use of those platforms.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

You may only use SpiritVale if you meet the age and account requirements that apply to the services you use, including Steam’s account rules. In some countries, this may include parental consent requirements.

You are responsible for your account, login access, and activity connected to your account. You must provide accurate information where required.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or misuse accounts. You may not let another person use your account in a way that breaks these terms, SpiritVale’s rules, or the rules of any third-party platform connected to the service.

5. The Service We Provide

SpiritVale provides an online game and related official services. These may include the game itself, the official website, the official wiki, the official database, the official Discord server, and official supporter pages such as Ko-fi.

Not every service may be available at all times, and some features may change over time.

6. License to Use the Game

SpiritVale grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the game and its related services for personal use, subject to these terms.

SpiritVale and its licensors keep all rights, title, and interest in the game and its related content. This includes game systems, writing, art, design, code, branding, music, database content, and other materials unless the law says otherwise.

Your access to SpiritVale may be suspended, restricted, or ended at any time under these terms.

7. Rules of Conduct

When using SpiritVale, you must follow the rules of fair play and respectful conduct.

You may not:

  • cheat, exploit bugs, bot, automate play, or use unauthorized tools
  • commit fraud, abuse, harassment, threats, hate, or other rule-breaking conduct
  • interfere with the game, website, wiki, database, Discord server, or other users
  • misuse support systems, reports, appeals, or community tools
  • post unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content on official SpiritVale services

SpiritVale may act on any behavior that harms the game, the community, staff, supporters, or other users.

8. Community Spaces

Community spaces connected to SpiritVale, including Discord, the wiki, the database, and public submissions, must follow SpiritVale’s rules.

Public posts, edits, messages, or submissions may be reviewed, moderated, removed, locked, or restricted when needed for safety, rules enforcement, or service management.

Repeated or serious violations may lead to warnings, suspension, removal, or other action.

9. Moderation, Suspension, and Removal

SpiritVale may warn, restrict, suspend, mute, remove, or ban any user or account when needed to protect the game, services, community, staff, or other players.

SpiritVale reserves the right to remove any player for any reason, at its sole discretion.

Access to any part of SpiritVale may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time.

10. Purchases, Donations, Premium Currency, and Refunds

Donations made to SpiritVale are voluntary and are not refundable.

Purchases, memberships, premium currency, and similar digital payments are final and non-refundable, unless a refund is required by law.

SpiritVale is not required to refund money spent on donations, purchases, memberships, or premium currency.

Chargebacks, payment abuse, fraud, or misuse of purchase systems may lead to account restrictions, suspension, or removal.

Third-party payment platforms and services such as Ko-fi, PayPal, and Stripe may also have their own rules, terms, and refund policies.

11. Virtual Items and Premium Currency

Virtual items, rewards, and premium currency are licensed for use within SpiritVale only. They are part of the service and are not your personal property.

Unless required by law, virtual items and premium currency have no cash value and may not be redeemed for real money.

SpiritVale may change, remove, rebalance, replace, or discontinue virtual items, rewards, premium systems, or related features at any time.

12. Donations and Supporter Benefits

SpiritVale may offer donations, memberships, purchases, supporter rewards, or other supporter benefits through official services such as Ko-fi.

Supporter benefits, memberships, donation rewards, or purchase-related perks may change, pause, or end at any time.

Supporting SpiritVale does not give you ownership, management rights, or guaranteed permanent access to future benefits, features, or rewards.

Supporter services may depend on third-party platforms such as Ko-fi, PayPal, or Stripe.

13. Third-Party Services

SpiritVale may use or connect to third-party services such as Steam, Discord, Ko-fi, payment processors, hosting providers, and other outside tools.

Those third-party services may be governed by their own terms, rules, and policies. SpiritVale is not responsible for services, content, outages, or actions that it does not control.

Your use of those services may require you to follow their separate terms as well as these terms.

14. Updates, Maintenance, and Service Changes

SpiritVale may update, patch, rebalance, remove, pause, limit, or discontinue parts of the game or related services at any time.

Online features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, technical issues, or service changes.

Content, systems, features, rewards, balances, and supported services may change over time.

15. Changes to the Terms

SpiritVale may change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Changes may be made without notice.

Your continued use of SpiritVale after any change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Intellectual Property

SpiritVale and its related content are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.

You may not copy, sell, distribute, publish, reverse engineer, scrape, republish, or misuse SpiritVale’s protected content except where allowed by law or with written permission from SpiritVale.

The SpiritVale name, logos, branding, game content, writing, art, systems, and other original materials belong to SpiritVale or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

17. User Content and Submissions

You remain responsible for any content you post, submit, upload, edit, or send through SpiritVale’s official services.

SpiritVale may review, remove, refuse, restrict, or moderate content submitted to official services, including public submissions, wiki edits, support tickets, bug reports, and community messages.

You should only submit content that you have the right to share and that does not violate these terms or the rights of others.

SpiritVale may use bug reports, suggestions, ideas, feedback, and similar submissions without compensation or obligation to you.

18. Disclaimers

To the extent allowed by law, SpiritVale is provided “as is” and “as available.”

SpiritVale does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free service, permanent availability, or that all features will always work as expected.

Outages, bugs, delays, data loss, service interruptions, and feature changes may happen.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, SpiritVale will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game or related services.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, limits, or overrides any rights, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Some places do not allow certain liability limits or exclusions, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.

20. Privacy

Your use of SpiritVale is also subject to the SpiritVale Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how SpiritVale collects, uses, shares, protects, and keeps information. You should read that policy together with these terms.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

To the extent permitted by law, you and SpiritVale agree that disputes may be handled by the courts of Victoria, Australia, and any courts that may hear an appeal from those courts.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
